Welcome to EDI’s Professional Development and Training Hub! We prioritize the success and advancement of our students, faculty, and staff. That’s why we have established a training design process that caters to the unique needs of our community. Our team works closely with departments across the university to design and deliver customized training programs for their staff. We understand that each department has its own set of challenges and goals, which is why our collaborative approach ensures that the training we provide is specifically tailored to address those needs, resulting in impactful and transformative learning experiences. Our plan is to develop an extensive on-demand library that is accessible to our faculty, staff, and students. This repository will offer a diverse range of resources, including workshops, courses, and learning materials, covering a wide array of topics. We believe that professional development and training are catalysts for personal and organizational growth.

Need to develop a new training? Use the Intake Form to initiate the process!
The Training Map and the Training Plan form will be used in the development and planning of all collaborative training partnerships.
The Training Map is the initial document used to 1) collect baseline information about the training from the department, 2) gain a high-level understanding of the knowledge, skills and dispositions participants are expected to learn by the end of the training, and 3) map out the training content, teaching methods and assessment.
